Travel Texas

Texas is “much more than you think”.  Throughout America it is one of the most diverse states, because of its nature and its cities.  With 7 unique geographic regions, that is not so surprising at all.

Thinking of Texas, also think of the outdoors and nature.  Hiking and camping in Big Bend National Park and rafting and kayaking on the Rio Grande River.  Horseback riding through the rolling hills of Hill Country and mountain biking through the wild valley of the Palo Duro Canyon State Park.

With over 1000 km of coastline, on the banks of the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, there is plenty of beach experience too : turtles that nest on South Padre Island and schools of dolphins that play along the coast.

Texas makes you not only think of many farmhouses and ranches, but also of a variety of cities.  From the river walk in picturesque San Antonio, also called the American Venice, to the musical capital of the world “Austin” and Dallas, where you come face-to-face with cowboys and in the evening go dining in a top-class restaurant.

Of course you also think of food when you think of Texas.  But there is not only barbecue on the menu, even though it is exceptional here.   Everything, from Mexican delicacies to world-class restaurants.
