MEMPHIS-MISSISSIPPI – The Blues, Soul and Rock ‘n’ Roll were born in Memphis and in Mississippi, homeland of Elvis Presley.

The mighty river flows from the cotton fields in the Delta, through the battlefields of the Civil War in Vicksburg to the magnificent pre-war plantation houses in Natchez and the sunny beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. Memphis and the Mississippi were eyewitnesses of some of the key moments of American history, which are amply illustrated in their numerous museums.
